Ottomans Landing sm

This is my impression of the Ottoman landing at Roca, which heralded the Ottoman invasion of Italy in 1480. The Ottoman Ağa (commander),depicted left, is reprimanding the subordinate commanders of the sipahis and akinjis on their poor logistical performance when choosing the landing site. Due to the presence of the cliffs, the mounted cavalry units were subsequently unable to proceed, an eventuality that was not considered by the commanders, who were demoted afterwards. Considering the location the reprimand took place (top of cliff), said commanders counted themselves lucky.
