Whiskey in the Jar by EthicallyChallenged Whiskey in the Jar by EthicallyChallenged
As I was going over
The Cork and Kerry mountains
I saw Captain Farrell
And his money he was countin'

I first produced my pistol
And then produced my rapier
I said, "Stand and deliver
Or the devil he may take ya"

the first verse of an old Irish folk song which inspired me to illustrate it

As a lover of traditional music (and a Irishman to boot), I do like how you represented this, however I always viewed this scene taking place in the 17th century rather than the 18th.  He'd be looking less like a traditional highway man and more like a ragged old solider :P

Another nice one. I know he's not a pirate, but he looks like a pirate, so I'm putting him in 'pirates'.

Oooh, you should do Drunken Sailor, that's such a lively scene too!

Like, with the proverbial sailor sprawled on the deck and the others laughing at him and all, early in the morning!
